Grand Designs Australia is an Australian spin-off of the British TV series Grand Designs. The show documents people who attempt to build a custom-designed house and the challenges they face. It is aired on The LifeStyle Channel and is hosted by the architect Peter Maddison.

I love it. The best part is the roof top garden, the worst (imo) is no handrails for stairs. It does very much look so Italian modern and needs a few peices of vintage modern Italian furniture to soften its hard lines.

Cool house, but imagine being one of the people who used to be able to look out into the city and now get to see a big slab of concrete instead.

Good project. I'd have made a second bedroom and have a kitchen+living room on the same floor.

What incredible Builders plus trades. I bought a second fix shell in Co. Mayo 2020. It's taken me till September 2023 to move in and still not finished 40K over my budget. Trades etc a disaster. Calling all Aussie trades, earn E2, 000 a job and that's not even a week's pay. I'd have put in a life. How's the dog 🐶 going to manage? From Ireland 🇮🇪

Very interesting house. As a builder myself in US i extremely intrigued by the construction process in a residental application, very nice and well done. I just wish the lady had stopped yapping so much and we could have heard more from the gentalman.

Hmm, climbing three flights of stairs with all your groceries is not ideal. Aside from that, it's a beautiful home.

I hate to say it but I’m not sure they’re right for each other, I think they’ll both bloom into different directions and peaceably separate

How lovely for the neighbours who used to have a view over the city and now get to stare at Dom's concrete wall. This is an historically working class and Blak neighbourhood. Great to see somegood old white gentrification going on. It's hideous.

The building is attractive looking, the best part of the house is the rooftop. Also what I found to be very sad, it has nothing to do with the building. This woman claims to be a Christian, and she is in direct rebellion against God. A woman has no authority to be a pastor, so to marry a person is tragic because God will not honor that marriage, and the Woman living in sin, will affect her life and her future children and grandchildren, for 800 yrs. Sex is only for marriage, they have both put themselves and their future family under a 10-generational curse, to allow Satan to terrorize and afflict her children with either rape, a child being a victim of incest rape, and even murder. The way we sin is the way we are judged by God when he appoints satan over us for breaking his law.
