I like the IFI sound in general. I have a dozen Dac's but go to the Zen most often. Bass boost is nice at times!

The way you described its audio traits it sounds like it might be similar to the iFi Gryphon, which is not a bad thing.

If they bring the price down a bit on the NEO iDSD 2 then I might think about buying it.

I use the XBass & XSpace on the iFi Gryphon when I'm drunk lol or to freakout any non-audiophile friends 💥 otherwise I stay with the normal mode.

Not very impressed by your sources, an Ipad PRO and Plexamp with CHromecast? Are these really on the scale of HiFi? The rest of your comments are very similar to all the other reviews i have seen on this iFi NEO IDSD 2. All of these reviews toether have helped me decide to purchase one.
