Look Better In Videos Today!! Lights, Framing, Makeup and Camera Settings....! Hello everybody and I know you are all doing videos now so I compiled my favorite tips for you!!! This was requested by Amy and Jane and I so hope you like the tips!
I again thank everyone for your good wishes and prayers for Billy and me…and Desi too.
These are hard days for all of us I know...I was working on a lot of personal feelings this week and I know they fell out in this video. But I left a lot of my sadness in because I think it's important to let ourselves feel any way we want...and it is Ok not to be Ok...but I feel more hopeful than I do discouraged.
We will come back strong and so many of you out there give me so much strength every day, I just want to say thank you for being here and thank you for your kindness and unending love and understanding. I admit, sometimes I wish women ruled the world!

So happy to see you tonight. I am mourning the passing of my two friends that passed this month. One from s massive heart attack and the other was killed in a tragic car accident along with her two daughters. I can't sleep. I will be attending her Memorial tomorrow. It will be different due to the circumstances we are all facing. Listening to your calm and soothing voice is therapeutic. You're beautiful. Thank you.

Why don't you make videos that inspire? Humm, I find that your videos do inspire. They encourage and inspire introspection, thought, kindness, and a willingness to accept our strengths and vulnerabilities as human beings. And, I agree with the idea that we must have time to heal before we can fully reach out and help others. What sets your videos apart from most is that you incorporate beautiful music and outdoor scenes. Also, you invoke opportunities even for a little while, to enter into a place which provokes thought and reflection. Which is a nice change from all the makeup applications. Makeup content is rampant on YouTube. Your best videos are the transparency of your life, which many of us can relate to. I think these type of videos help us women over 60 the most in that at this time in our lives we are reflecting on times gone by but also with expectation of the future. In my personal opinion I am more free at my age than I have ever been (you and I are exactly the same age). I don't have to compete with anyone. It's total freedom to be real and to be me. It's a glorious time in my life.

Maybe my comment will sound superficial reading others that are more profound but you made my day just by saying that you adjust your makeup when you are on camera. You see, when I look at YouTube tutorials all the woman even my age and over (68) are so flawless and every time I wonder why not me?? Why can't I have such a pretty complexion ? So thank you! Hi Susan and Desi! Hope your doing fine. I started a small organic flower and vegetable garden along with sweet potatoes using ECO fabric planters which you can move indoors if it gets to cold. You make such beautiful videos. You have an eye for photography. Interesting to hear about lighting & makeup. Some ladies have ring lights that are so bright. I’ve asked if they could turn down the lights. I wasn’t the only person who asked. You couldn’t even see the real colors of the makeup. I know that bright light on the face makes wrinkles disappear. I don’t know if life will ever be the same. Then you hear on the news that the virus will be worse during the winter. No wonder people are hoarding toilet paper. I ordered groceries for delivery & I ordered toilet paper. I ordered a big pack, well I got 3 single rolls of Marcal. I had some friends who went to the store & the shelves are still empty. So sick of it all. At least I’m not crying everyday. I also stopped watching the briefings. Stay safe & love you, Lucy

Suze, I get the feeling that someone has hurt your feelings. And I just hate that....and I can relate...this is a strange time for all of us I think who are very introspective women to begin to hide...no time out....our feelings are out there, kind of raw and exposed. We examine them and turn them every which way to look at them from every angle and then we decide our feelings are the deepest part of who we are and we make peace with them. Such adorable bowtie on Desi...another loving inspiring video...you bring me up so much....I had my surgery for skin cancer on my back and the doctor removed 4 lymph nodes and says I have a big chance of the melanoma coming back. Just when I turned 65 and felt so good as if I were 45 again....I'm not believing the docs...they don't know me and what the Lord can do! Miracles do happen and have for me🤗 Waiting for the next one the Lord has for me❤️ Thanks so much for being there! We are living the BEST years of our lives right now💃♥️👠💅

Great video, and thank you for sharing your filming tips. As usual, you and Desi look wonderful. But my favorite part was the very end when you had your glasses on, your hair was less than perfect and you were in your comfy clothes, barefoot and playing and dancing with Desi. To me, that was the one of the most intimate glimpses into your “non YouTube” life that you have ever let us witness. It was wonderful. I am getting more and more projects finished and I am enjoying each one and not rushing through it just to get it done.
