First mistake is parking in private lots. Sometimes garages are $10-20. Meter parking is way cheaper, maybe $10 max, Sundays are free. Only thing is you just got to drive around till you find a spot.

This isn’t normal parking, I work downtown everyday, convention parking is $10 for 10 hours and $3 each extra hour, a street ticket for parking is $20 and it’s normally like $6 an hour to park on street. These guys parked in a private lot.

I don’t pay for street parking in Austin the ticket is $20 and normally to park is $3 for two hours. I’ve only gotten one ticket in the years living here. This is a private lot off Rainey, they will tow and charge up the butt.

It's not that expensive if you don't park in the obvious marked places with the huge signs.

There's parking garages absolutely everywhere, they're just hidden pretty well so they don't make things look super ugly. It's nice

Not to mention they will tow you on so BS excuses as well. Even in spots that company’s swear to god are safe to park in. The towing company’s are in on it as well. Waiting just around the corners. I hate going down town because of it

Nashville is as bad now. They will boot your car one minute after your time is up and they have an officer to take your boot off and on on the lot at all hours.
