There's way more old family farms in your neck of the woods than I thought Mr. GP. Lots of cool vintage vehicles and items on them. Thank you for taking us along.

A Chevy very similar to this was the oldest car we ever restored in our body shop. It was never off the road and owned by one family from brand new to the late Eighties. After we finished the restoration the owner sold it soon after. I never found out how he could do that. That was the car he had learned to drive in. He was rich and not to old and fragile to drive it. Some people seem to have not enough sense for family memories.

Pontiac wagon was a good buy. My grandparents had a 79 LeMans 4 door with the exact same color interior. That was always a great running car. My sisters and I rode with them from AZ to MN in 87 and saw every tourist attraction along the way. Really good memories.

Grinder is a Burr mill used to grind corn for livestock. Letz had most farm equipment company names stenciled on the hopper depending on the dealership it was being sold through. Could be belt driven with a tractor or large gas engine 5 to 10 ponies. AL B.

The 64 Fairlane was cool. My first car was a 64 Fairlane, 2dr, straight 6 with a 3 on the tree.

21:43...most of those John Deere tractors of that era I have seen, only have headlights on the fenders, and not on the "grill" like that...with that solid plate, grill-less nose, and the shape of it, always reminded me of the look of the nose of a Fokker D-VII WW1 fighter plane...

2:15 nice work being gentle on the old latch I was getting a stomach ache watching that other fellow slam slam slam. Probably hasn’t been lubed in 60 or 70 years.

Always look under the square headlight Monarch and Granada Ghia cars, at least half of them have a very desirable drum brake 9" rear end. I've nailed several from the bone yards in the past.

If your interested there is a 1974 chevy chevelle that's in running condition down here in Lancaster Texas. They are asking 10, 000 for it. It has a good running 350 and is automatic! Color is green! Good tires and pretty clean! I think all it really needs is some light bulbs replaced and it would be a great driver! Its also low mileage!

That was a Lents Berr mill, for grinding grain, sold by John Deere plow company... FYI..

I remember when I was twenty years old. I tried to buy a 59 Plymouth 4d registered and in running condition. I collected every cent I had. When I reached the place to buy it I found out that I was to late. The guy said it never occurred to him that this car might be a classic vehicle. Well that was 43 years ago and the car was still quite cheap back then. In Switzerland those cars were quite rare but they had a mopar assembly line.
GM produced also a lot of cars in my Province. The Belair we own since 67 was also Swiss assembled one: Different colors, different VIN, Swiss made interiors. The Swiss made cars were of better quality than the US built ones. I have seen pictures of the Swiss GM assembly line here: It was unbelieavable. There were all kind of models on the assembly lines: A Opel Coupe in front of a Cheyy and a Ranger. Many brands and models behind each other.

The Thunderbolts were 500s, not base trim cars.

What I was always Thunkin if you had a pair of two door sedan Fairlane doors you could make a two door out of a four-door like they’re doing with the tri five Chevy’s ?! Just thought it might make a cool T-Bolt clone !
