This video outline the correct procedure for fitting spherical roller bearings using the reduction in radial clearance method.

Spin the outer ring back so the nomenclature of the bearing is visible from the front. You don't need to measure the bearing bore, the last 2 digits of the bearing designation multiplied by 5 gives the nominal bore size. In this case, possibly a 23211 bearing, 11 x 5 =55 mm bore. There will also be a K in the designation indicating a 1:12 taper.

Test the curvature of the spherical raceway, the reliability of high precision bearing is stronger when the speed is close to the limit. For example, spherical roller bearings installed in the high-speed final rebar mill. Many bearings have severe heat and short life. The force of the final bar mill is not large, but the rotational speed is very high. Therefore, the high-precision MB type (copper cage) spherical roller bearing will be more competent. MB spherical roller bearings have the characteristics of high speed, low vibration and noise, low oil consumption and slow heating.

I have to ask you. You measure clearance on bottom of the ring of bearingIn my work, they recommend me to measure in middle of the bearing. Now what is correct way ?
