The 2020 VW e-Up is an updated version of the first generation e-Up (2014-2019). The 2020 version got a 36,8 kWh lithium-ion battery of which offers a practical autonomy of 200 km. The car is front wheel powered by an electric motor that delivers 83 hp and 210 Nm of torque.

This car accelerates in 11,9 seconds to 100 kmh and got its top speed at 135 kmh.

Thanks to its 40 kW DC CCS charger it can be charged from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes. At a household AC socket (10A/2,3kW) it takes about 15 hours for a charge from 10% to 100%.

In Belgium, the e-Up costs 22.950€, VAT included.
