Sandy's last brilliant WS moment. Just a staggeringly great pitcher, and a very fine man .

What a piece of footage. One legend of the game interviews another.

Koufax may have been one of the most articulate of baseball players, as smart as they come. And Scully was the master of calling a game and doing interviews. So sweet to watch and listen to these two.

I used to stand in front of my black and white tv with a baseball bat and watch the likes of these guys and loved every minute of it... used to swing my 28 inch Little League bat with the pitches on the tube until one day I cracked the TV screen!! Boy did I get it lol

I love the casual conversation between the two as if nobody else is there and it's two friends chopping it up.

Listen to Koufax praise a substitute player Lou Johnson for his contributions to the club. What a humble man.

Sandy has more than just talent. He has courage and humility. His humanity makes me cry in appreciation of him as a human being. He sacrificed himself for the common good and his team and stood by his convictions!

Koufax will always be the greatest lefty no matter what anyone says or statistics they bring up. The man had four no hitters in a damn row! What a blessing Mr. Koufax brought along with Vince Scully to baseball.

THE most charismatic athlete I've ever seen.

Most mind-boggling baseball stat: his last two years - 1965/66 - 54 complete games ...
and unlike Clemens, Maddux and Kershaw, Sandy really was Mr. October.
