Dont forget tunnels! Being able to tunnel through sheer cliff faces has been an absolute godsend. Placing my tubeways so its mostly underground has been amazing!

Over 2 years ago I discovered Timberborn watching some Youtuber playing this game that ticked my brain in all the right ways if you like to hoard water, manage ressources / colony and irrigate lands.

I bought very few games over the past decade+ for budget and health reasons, but Timberborn... Timberborn is a gem, it was avaliable in my language ( French ) and I could afford it on sale. I did not regret buying it.

The devs made something absolutely fantastic. The controls are about as intuitive / comfortable as they can get and there are tutorials all over youtube to help you.

The animations are ridiculously cute and came a long way since I started playing over 2 years ago.

So much to love. Custom. Detailer. Patterns.

Custom drought durations. Can you hoard enough water for drought increasing to over 100, 150 days? It's possible.

Honestly, Update 7 feels like a completely new game! Tunnels, 3D terrain, hypertubes. The only cherry on top that I can think of would be to change the power shafts to work the same way that hypertubes do.

Flying bevers that can not swim, but have to walk on the bodemfloor. That eat bread but not clams on their belly breaking them with rocks floating in the water.
