I enjoyed this movie even more than the first Aquaman film. I don't see how true Aquaman fans or Jason Mamoa fans haven't turned out in full force to see this movie. There was a tad I didn't understand at the very end, but there is no way, after seeing the movie, I would've wanted to miss this film. People should at least stop listening to the naysayers and take the ride and judge for themselves. Also, first movie I have seen Imax in a long time that was really, really worth the extra price.

the movie had a lot of character growth, and some teachings the way i perceived it as life teachings. Of course, some of the effects are cheesy, but it had a great plot (obvious). This movie was great. So not sure why people are commenting it as a flop.

Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom was a lot of fun from start to finish! A visual feast with loads of awesome ideas for sets & creatures & artifacts, a great pace, fun gags, just enough comic-book-style action & a suitably clumsy underlying theme of a planet in danger from climate change (exactly what's needed these days, as subtlety ain't doin' it). For what it was, it met expectations. Momoa is great in the role & brings a huge dose of FUN! Obvs, don't go to a comic superhero film expecting nuance & depth, but do go for the fun & escapism, and in my view, this had those in spades. Screw the bad reviews - enjoy!
