Cozumel did not go as planned... | Celebrity Beyond SOLO Cruise!

It's Day 3 on my SOLO cruise on Celebrity Beyond and I had a big day planned in Cozumel! I booked a shore excursion (third-party) to do Tequila tasting, snorkeling and a beach lunch but unfortunately things didn't go as planned...

Later in the day, I enjoy the beautiful spaces around the ship and get ready for a fun evening at sea - I eat one of my favorite dinners of the entire cruise, watched an incredible show onboard called the Boy Band Project, and followed that up with some fun activities with the entertainment team!

Yet another amazing day on the Beyond, and this ship is very quickly making it's way up to the top of my favorites list! If this is the first video you're watching, check out the rest of the series to see my first two days onboard!

Good to see you go with the flow. Yes, sometimes things don’t go as planned. But on Celebrity, it’s hard to be disappointed about anything. It’s my absolute favorite. Both large and small ships!

Hey Mer! Cool to know you went Cozumel and Grand Cayman, I visited those ports last year July from MSC seascape. I basically walked around the port area in Cozumel, found a market place, cool stores, souvenir places and more. Like you, it also poured down rain and I got soaked, I was miles away from the port, thank God I have a dry bag. Nice video, convinced I want to go on that cruise, hopefully soon. I do find interesting that the excursion didn’t got booked, it sounds interesting. But you made the best out of the situation, I think this videos help us pivot when things don’t go as planned when cruising. ❤

I think you used your time well in Cozumel. Maybe it was for the best. Thanks for the ship tour. Looks nice! Grand Cayman is pricey. The kayak tours are fun.

My wife and I ate at Eden on the Apex and it was the best meal I’ve ever had…on land or sea. If you go again, treat yourself…you can thank me later 😂.

I love the Beyond. It was my first cruise ship, unfortunately, because, like you, I am having a hard time finding a line I like as much (though I am going on Explora I in January, and that looks equally impressive). This year, I'm headed back for the Thanksgiving cruise in a few short weeks on Beyond :). Also a solo cruiser. Thanks for the vids. They are great.

Celebrity is my favorite line. My very first and most of my early cruises were on Celebrity, and it's so easy to be a little disappointed with everything else. Celebrity sets a pretty high bar with their ships, food, and service. A lot of the other lines fall short with that and the sophisticated vibe you get on Celebrity. How did you like the infinite veranda cabin? Would you do it again?

Just found your channel doing a search for cruising solo. Great video! Curious what you thought of the ship for a solo cruiser? I have cruised in the past with family but booked my first solo on RC Allure of the Seas. I just found out that the Crown and Anchor works with Celebrity, so I am starting to see what the ships are like in this fleet and what the solo supplement is like. Will check out the other videos you have from this ship as well.
