Tyson's career performances in the ring were never as good after he fired Rooney. Looking back at this fight, I realized why. Tyson was, especially after Cuss passed, started losing the people who helped him control the rage he felt In the ring. Rooney would put his nose on Tyson's nose and talk calmly to him with instructions. You can see Mike's rage diminish and he start focusing on the instructions; bringing him back. That could only be done by someone who knows him that he respects. When Don King coaxed him to get rid of the last thing that was tied to Cuss, he knew he could distract Tyson enough to rob him blind.

King pretended that he, by being black, should be trusted to look out for his best interest. King basically took advantage of him by telling him he does all the work and is better suited to make his own decisions. To a kid from the background he had, this meant he was special and could do whatever he wanted with no repercussions. I'm from Chicago and there was a popular black night club near downtown that celebrities, sports stars and big time drug dealers frequented. The owners were shady characters and friends of Tyson.

One night Tyson did something worthy of criminal charges while high and full of liquor. Well the owners helped shield him from prosecution and received money and a Rolls Royce for what they did. That same club became infamous for being a fire trap, which caused the lives of several people one night after a fight broke out in the club. This was during one of the coldest nights in the history of the city.

TYSON was so awesome around that time, people dont put in perspective that he was just only a TEENAGE BOY, LOL, Wasnt even a MAN yet.

TYSON didnt start reaching his full grown Man Prime Powers until like 1988 when he destroyed SPINKS, and even in late 1987 when he destroyed TYRELL BIGGS he was way more stronger and primed than he was for that MITCH GREEN fight as a Teenager

Anyone here see the picture of Mitch Green’s face in court after him and Tyson had a street fight … it shows who won the fight. This is the reason Tyson’s fight with Frank Bruno was postponed due to Tyson fracturing his hand in the fight. So basically Tyson beat Green both inside and outside of the ring. If that doesn’t prove who is truly the better fighter then I don’t know what does.

Had Jake been a boxer in the 1980s and fought Mike, he would have been knocked out 20 seconds into the 1st round 😂 instead he fought him at almost age 60 and still went the distance with the fight. That shows Tyson is a different animal to me and is that guy.
