So... question? Does this mean we're currently unable to detect exoplanets of stars that have planets in a vertical orbit in reference to our observing position? As in, stars near to us that don't seem to have exoplanets, may in fact have exoplanets that we cannot detect because their orbits don't bring them between us and their star?
