President Biden… send some to Taiwan. As a former Nike Hercules missile operator, I very much appreciate the remote operated launcher part. Since the launcher is remote operated, I assume it is self-sufficient, no need for city grid power, backed up by a diesel generator and all that. That means it can be hidden anywhere instead of certain prepared cites. This characters alone would increase Taiwan’s porcupine missile defense resilience tremendously.

I think this launcher is a great idea that will certainly help the USMC hold back the PLA or deter a war. I can imagine these all over the islands, easily moved, hard to track, and easily replaced. The USMC will be getting some teeth where it is needed at the moment. We have to threaten the PLA ships or the CCP may make the mistake of going to war.

This is a significant capability for sure!

Taiwan has a few island other than the main one and a few of these hidden away on them could wreak havoc on any invasion.

The Tomahawk can alternatively carry a W80 thermonuclear warhead, with a variable yield from 5 to 150 kilotons.

Also, the newest version of the Tomahawk can send tracking data for more missiles. It is the most hilarious missile we have. A missile for missiles.

Always good to have a Tomahawk handy, one never knows when one will need one.

The biggest advantage I can see from this design is the potential for automatic reloading. It is possible that, after launching its weopan, the truck could autonomously navigate to a reloading system a distance away from the launching site. This would help to increase the survivability of the stockpile and automate logistics. I think this idea is a winner.

The Marines gave ASM a top priority for the Indo-Pacific region - ultra long range USMC artillery carries international political issues. Additionally, the USN is working on procedures to improve vertical launch system reloading at sea.

Army: We operate the world's most advanced GMLRS delivery system - HIMARS.
Marines: Why don't we strap a tomahawk missile to the back of one of them new Humvees that ain't a Humvee?

Hey Alex what is your opinion on whether the F-16 will really change course of the ukraine/Russian war? The F-16 is awesome but i just down't know how long they will go until they are shot down by S-400 or S-500

US should also developed an underwater loitering stealth drone torpedoes to destroy submarines and military ships and can be useful for attacking ship blockades.

I believe the block 5 also combines the ability to track ships, and attack land targets (via GPS) into one guidance package.

The US Army just chose General Dynamics and Rheinmetall as finalists for the 4000 Bradley replacement IFVs.
Could you do a video about this program, the two finalists and the other three that dropped out. Or more generally the current state of IFVs (Bradley, CV90, Puma, Lynx) and their most likely future. Maybe even including anti air IFVs like some CV90 variants and SkyRanger.

Thats another reason the Marines no longer need M1 Abrams in their future battle/defense plans.

Such a game changer especially if deployed in some of the thousands of Japanese islands
