That red sweater with the interior and the red colour of the car is a really nice match, perfect for a winter day.

The Accord Hybrid does not have a CVT. The hybrid system works in a similar way to a diesel electric locomotive where there is a generator creating electricity for a large electric motor to drive the vehicle forward. At highway speeds the engine and the wheels can be directly connected.

Looks like a nice car but nothing special. I couldn't deal with the CVT and a constant redline when accelerating hard.

Nice sedan in hybrid mode.A shame the Accord model is no longer avaliable in Europe due to poor sales...

I think there's lots of things to like about the car, but that CVT-engine combination isn't one of those things. It shouldn't sound like running out of steam at top of the rev range just to get to highway cruising speeds. I'd take this as EV with the engine as range extender over that frankly. The sounds Honda electric motors make are at least interesting (noticed that in the NSX too), that engine at constant redline just sounds annoying.

Nice POV....the LKAS is a bit worrying since it doesn't seem to do its job...does it?

That engine noise sounds like a lawn mower which Honda also produces.

I’ll take a sonata hybrid with a proper transmission.

What's with the engine revving to what sounds like redline. Very strange.

You were in manual mode the whole time

Where did you put your mic? Both wind and road noise seem to be quite significant.
