Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre took aim at incoming Prime Minister Mark Carney's track record of managing the economy. The criticism comes ahead of a potential federal election call.

When he's talking about Trudeau or the Liberals, Poilievre is happy to talk smack all day long, but when he's talking about Trump, Poilievre is suddenly very polite and respectful.
Carney has only been leader for a day and he's already talked tougher about Trump than Poilievre has his entire career.
Poilievre won't defend Canadians against Trump. He knows it. Trump knows it. Canadians know it.

When is he ever going to talk about what he's going to do without wasting everyones time pointing at the mistakes made by the opposition? I mean we get that. Tell us how you are planning on reviving the economy, tell us how you are planning on convincing the Liberals to support and pass your bills. You cannot just solely run your campaign on pointing fingers at the opposition for what they did wrong . Tell us how you are going to make them right or fix them.

I have no affiliation or likes to any particular party. But at a time when all Canadians need to unify, PP is still using all his time to keep the infighting going. Time for him to stop attacking Canadian politics for the time being and help the country instead. Someone who is that determined in only getting votes cannot be good for the country.

I legitimately understand why people disliked Trudeau and wanted him gone. However, that doesn't mean you need to vote for Millhouse here. Carney got us through 2008 fairly well, and did the same for the Bank of England and Brexit. Two major crisis, and he saved two countries from the worst effects of them.

Seems like a solid track record to me.

Speaking of track records...how many bills has PP passed in his 21yr career in politics? 1. Just 1 single bill, that is arguably antidemocratic.
