Must-Try #Turkish Restaurant in #Honolulu

Some of our local friends took us out for dinner at @istanbulhawaii , a place I’ve wanted to come ever since they opened. Located in the Kakaako district of Honolulu, Istanbul serves up authentic Turkish cuisine and it’s good! 🤤

First let’s talk about the cocktails. I had a couple of them and they were so good I’d go back just for the drinks 🍹! No kidding! The Evil Eye was my favorite.

Then yhe food started to arrive. We had an assortment of mezes to share. The lamb dishes were all perfectly cooked and my octopus was tender and flavorful. We needed the night we an assortment of desserts. The Kunefe is a must try. 😋

Wooow!!! This seems like a legit "künefe". And the kebaps seem also good. So surprising that you eat such a dish in Hawai :))

Food is really good That gobekli Tepe cocktail with the chili is around 18$ it’s like a 3 sips
But really good

Pricy but the food is fire
