I remember Ivan..it was well off toward nova Scotia..but a long feeder extended all the way back into the gulf..at that terminus a new tropical low developed and was predicted to move east into Florida..it retained the name Ivan..perhaps if the storm namers dont want to keep a subsequent low named Francine..they might call it Frank😁
