The music had been registered during the Zurich Art on Ice shows that took place the previous week. This is the music used for Vasiljevs’ Free Skating during the 2016/1017 season.

Lambiel is Men’s Figure Skating 2006 Olympic silver medallist, 2005 and 2006 World Champion and 2007 World bronze medallist, three-time European silver medallist (2006, 2008 and 2010), 2005 and 2007 Grand Prix Final Champion and nine-time Swiss national champion (2001–08, 2010).

Vasiljevs is currently 17 years old and in his first season of being coached by Lambiel. He is the first Latvian skater to win medals in the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating and he placed 7th in the 2017 Europeans.

Filmed live with a Sony RX100 II during the "Art on Ice 2017" performance at the Patinoire de Malley in Lausanne on February 7th, 2017.

I love how Stephane give Deniss confidence to skate well. He is a great coach and he has a great chemistry with his student. Good luck to Deniss to make the cut to the Olympic.
