Sustainable Crop Protection and IPM Webinar

This months topic is sustainable crop protection & IPM. The webinar was hosted by Greg Hopkinson, BASIS Technical Manager, who also provided information about how Integrated Pest Management is incorporated into BASIS qualifications, and as part of Continuing Professional Development for our Professional Register members.


Speakers:

Richard Heady
The first speaker on the webinar is Richard Heady, a mixed arable and livestock farmer from Buckinghamshire, who is also a Voluntary Initiative Champion. Richard is has told us all about the positive impact using IPM has had on his farm.

Lucy Bates
Our second speaker is Lucy Bates, Technical Manager at LEAF who explained how IPM works within a complete Integrated Farm Management system.
