This is NOT the fault of the Coast Guard, or any other rescue team. This sub is made of fragile materials that weren’t certified for depths that deep. The designers were willing to save a buck just to do what no one else dared. Remember that these 5 people signed their lives away, knowing full well the risks and consequences.
