All these versions are so beautiful and definitely favourites, though I would also include Pia in the German version - she's my favourite!!! And excellent choices for the voices they're all among my favourites, I only miss German and Latin Spanish 😅
And if I had done the same for the complete song, I would have put Thai for the last note of Fei Fei, her last note is just so gorgeous and bewitching 🤩

I love the singers you chose, they all sound so gorgeous here! You even put some of them in my favourite lines by them haha From these the one I probably like less overall is Diamond (and I feel terrible for it) but I must admit she _shines_ in this song. So so good <3


You think you will work on a Chang'e ranking in the future? I'm really curious about your opinion on these voices, tbh. We usually agree quite a lot in rankings but this character suffers from the Elsa syndrome aka opinions seem quite diverse in our little community, so that's exciting~

Con esta canción, me imagino algo hipotético en la película de Disney Encanto, y es que si Abuela Alma hubiera muerto justo después de que Casita se destruyó, Mirabel se habría sentido mucho más culpable, sintiendo que no solo le hizo daño a la familia sino que también causó la muerte de Abuela Alma, el punto es que, aunque Encanto se ambiente en un pueblo de Colombia, esta canción podría aplicar en este momento que estoy planteando, y sería así:
“Yo sé que vives triste...Lo veo en tu mirar...”(Los ojos de Mirabel ya están muy rojos) “La pena de la muerte de quien amas más...Pero el tiempo ha llegado...Ya de soltar al fin...Podrás vivir feliz y sin dolor, libera el corazón” (Mirabel comienza a calmarse) “Si das amor tendrás a tu familia, y no sea como antes fue” (la imagen de Abuela Alma desaparece de la foto familiar) “Y si tú amas, serás amada” (Mirabel recuerda cuando le dio el peluche de Jaguar 🐆 a Antonio y este la abrazó agradeciéndole por el obsequio y cuando Isabela le dio un abrazo al mostrarle lo que podía hacer. Mirabel derrama una lágrima de felicidad) “No hay para que un don, ya eres fuerte hoy, las cosas que buscan han estado alrededor” “Si duele que te falte, su espíritu está aquí” (Mirabel observa un recuerdo de ella de niña abrazando por primera vez a Abuela Alma, recordando que solía verla como su mamá) “Confía en que te acompañará...Y ya vuelve a amar”.
La canción termina, Mirabel finalmente acepta que si bien extraña a Abuela Alma, encontrará la forma de lidiar con eso, regresa corriendo del bosque directo a su casa (o más bien lo que quedó) y es recibida por su madre, Julieta, su padre, Agustín y, en especial, por el pequeño Antonio.
Antonio: “Creí que te habíamos perdido 😭”
Mirabel: “No llores, parcerito, estoy de vuelta...Y eso es lo único que importa 😌”
