Very inspiring! About a year ago I began a quest to improve my handwriting and discovered dip pens. This looks like a great way to practice without driving myself crazy. Still working to master the dip pen but this looks like a great warm up as well. Thank you for sharing.

I see how you make your thicker lines - your pencil is sharpened to a short cone rather than a long point, so that by tilting the pencil slightly, the line broadens.

This looks great - it's a nice way to add a touch of calligraphy to anything, even if you're without your usual pens. Just find a pencil with a short point and voila, you've got beautiful writing.

I've practiced calligraphy off and on since high school, and it's a great pastime and a useful art form.

As a child I really find Calligraphy and handwriting useful for school. I use it for headings and titles and it makes my work really stand out. I got exceptional grades because of how neat my work was and I received a lot of compliments. Also, calligraphy with pencils is really easy!

👍Very nice! I was in an old house from the 1800's and the hand written letter's that I've come across have awesome writing! But, back in them day's that's all everyone did so they had lots of practice.

That's nice! I do have some Art works that I made using calligraphy. I am not a pro so it is challenging. The only tolds I have are the common once. My favorite although it is "hard" but I rather say "CHALLENGING". Making art works is such a fun and makes you feel proud of yourself that you can do something good and meaningful.
