The reason your plants keep moving around when you plant them is because you’re planting them too close together, they’re a full tile wide and you’re trying to plant them on every half tile

If your sim gives someone a tulip scented bouquet as a gift, they have to stay faithful to your sim for 3 days. I never knew this until super recently

New challenge: the fake rich challenge
Have a huge fancy expensive house but start with 1000 simoleons. You have to hire all services (maid, gardener, chef, etc. you don’t need a nanny unless you have children) and you’re not allowed to do anything that will save you money like turning lights off, using generators or water collectors, etc. You’re allowed to sell and find collectibles but you can’t do anything that would be considered “dirty” like digging things up or have any career that isn’t “glamorous” (i dunno how to explain it but basically you cant be like a gardener or a part timer or anything like that) Basically you have to try and survive/build up an actual fortune while maintaining the front that you’ve been rich all along

If you start in autumn and participate in the harvestfest you will get lots of seed packs and therefore flowers. So that might be a good strategy because you need seasons for the table.

I got rich off of flower arranging with one of my families, the wife was a stay at home mom and arranged flowers on the side. the most expensive flower arrangement can sell for like 6k simoleons, you need level 10 in the skill and orchids tho, which took me some time to get. But once you have them, it’s really easy to get rich cause it doesn’t take that long to make the arrangements, my sim could make like 4x6k simoleons per day while also spending time with her kids and cooking and stuff.
