Great video 👍My son is 11 and has been airsofting in games since 9. I think the issues with kids playing is the maturity or lack thereof. If a child is responsible, safe and respectful, he will be a good ally on the field. It's the kids with bad behaviour that ruin the sport and cause accidents.

Saw one 7 yrs old kid in my team that somehow is a 2 yr veteran in airsoft and damn he's extremely good

Here in the US of A I’ve seen 9 year olds throw birthday parties and get shredded by speedsofters and no one ever questions how morally correct it is to spray some little kid with BBs even if they start crying. We cut some slack for the nice kids but the cocky ones that play too much Fortnite and think they are better than everyone else usually don’t last that long before getting humbled by the professional airsofters.

Funnily enough, they were marketed towards kids back when they were invented. They were sold as toys, in fact.

A little late so, here in the USA most fields let kids play as long as their parents sign a liability waiver. I can imagine some fields are locked to 18+, but for the most part children can play as long as they have a liability waiver on hand. Some fields do have a minimum though; like “you can’t play till you’re 10 years old” something like that.

That explains why my best airsoft experience was in Japan. I went to CQB buddy in Osaka, and the experience there was fantastic.
