Let me clear this out ..
This is specifically for those who have taken IT/computer applications as their additional subject (6th) ... Then,
If you fail in maths/sst/science, only then IT would be counted as your best 5(not applicable for language subjects)
Incase if you, get higher marks in IT/CA and score lesser in maths/sst/science(low marks, not fail) . In this case the main 5 only would be counted. This means IT/CA won't replace the lower marks

I was soo tensed about my mathematics exam...
Bcz in this pre board I scored just 33 marks out of 80 whereas in SST I scored 75 marks out of 80...
I was thinking that I would not be able to score 90%+ because maths would take my percentage down...
After watching this video I am literally relieved🤗...

Our school cancelled our music exam and saying that this year cbse changed this policy (5 subject rule ) if you take any additional subject cbse can't replace any subject at last of your mark sheet the additional subject marks are represented 😫😫

So in my case I am having IT as additional subject so can i replace Hindi with IT if i score good in English, Social, Science and Mathematics??

thankfully i am having 7 subjects. i was too annoyed about 2 extra subjects which are it and hindi (because first language is punjabi). but after seeing this vdo I am very happy about that because I get better marks in both then other subjects.
