Speaking of Wally, I was very moved by the Rebirth moment in which, after five years of absence, Wally is reunited with Barry and they both embrace, with the first Flash apologizing to his nephew with tears for having forgotten about him.

New 52 gave us court of owls, developed Aquaman and Mera, and made the face off joker. I'm glad for it

For some reason, when I was a kid I thought that the new 52 lasted for way longer. Granted, it went from when I was a child to a teenager, so it probably just felt like it was longer.

More than that, Dr Manhattan explain the importance of Superman through the metaverse, he is litteraly the axis of the DC universe, and it makes sense in and out of universe, for us he is the first "modern" superhero and in universe he is the universal symbol of hope, without him you get Watchmen

I genuinely LOVED Convergence. It was a beautiful tribute to all the previous DC continuities and the iconic series that defined our childhood, like the 80's Teen Titans comics or the 90's Superman stories by Dan Jurgens. Besides, it was great the return of the Silver Age Crime Syndicate and other characters that were in oblivion for many years

When D.C. screwed up so bad, editorial foists the blame on Dr. Manhattan.

Flash looking at the Smiley button: "What is this, Bruce?"
Bruce: "I'm not sure, but it strangely makes me want to tell you a Pagliacci joke..."

New 52 was cool because we got runs like the Red Lanterns with Guy Gardner becoming their new leader. Also Larfleeze Agent Orange got his own run which was both cool and funny at the same time.

the New 52 also gave us some of the greatest Batman stories of all time, so I’ll always call it a win.

Lmao Dr. Manhattan was like “I did it for the meme”

Guy Gardner directly beating Manhattan was the most badass moment of this arc. I bet Jon found in Guy's personality a certain reminiscent to the Comedian

Me: "Mr. Moore, will you sign me my copy of "Doomsday Clock"? Which interaction of the Watchmen characters with the DC characters is your favorite? Woukd you also sign my Blu-Ray edition of the upcoming animated movie?" 😃
Alan Moore: *"Mad World" begins to play*

The writers really said "look, look! It wasn't us, it was Dr. Manhattan!"

One of the greatest retcons ever. The whole button story happens in literally minutes like flash war. Starting with eobard thorn being vaporized . So amazing

I enjoyed the new 52 for the most part. It was refreshing to see new interpretations of older stories

So basically New 52 was all a prank by Dr Manhatten

DC's response to any criticism at all is just to reboot the entire universe

The one redeeming feature of all this was the characters actually having different memories between them. I remember one scene where Batman and Catwoman debate whether they met when she was trying to steal a diamond disguised as an old woman, or in the scene from Year One in the red light district.

I like the New 52 and some of the things it did especially Clark and Diana, i liked the progression they were attempting to do with Superman, Teen Titans was pretty bad, but Red Hood and the outlaws was good to.
