Jurij Dalmatin was a Slovene Lutheran minister, reformer, writer and translator. He translated the complete Bible into Slovene. His family is of Croatian Dalmatian origin. He had absolutely nothing to do with Serbia or Serbs. The oldest painting of Dalmatian Dog is a fresco painting in The Monastery of St. Cosmas and Damian on the island of Tkon near Zadar in Croatia built in 1059, Dalmatia is the coastal region of Croatia. Since there is no other older source everything else remains speculative theory. Dalmatian Dog originates from Dalmatia, the coastal region of Croatia.

Juraj Dalmatinac (beginn 15. century - 1473/75) was artist, builder, stone cutter and stone mason, who built the famous and unique monumental cathedral in Trogir. The cathedral is a catholic building, built in gothic style and, knowing that serbians are mostly orthodox, by all the magic of the world, it would be really difficult to transform a builder of a catholic church into a serbian and orthodox personality.
Juraj DALMATINAC (meaning Dalmatian, of dalmatian origin) was not a poet either.
