Load flow analysis, also known as power flow analysis, is a fundamental method used in electrical power systems engineering to study the steady-state behavior of an electrical network. It is used to determine voltage magnitudes, phase angles, active power, reactive power, and power factor at various buses in the system under different operating conditions.

The load flow analysis calculates the flow of electrical power through transmission lines and distribution networks by solving a set of power flow equations. These equations are based on Kirchhoff's current law (KCL) and Kirchhoff's voltage law (KVL) and take into account the active power (P), reactive power (Q), and complex voltage (V) at each bus or node in the network.
