I have been using Koko & Claire's peel off gel base coat, it's just called Base (Weekend Base). I have serious commitment issues with gel, acrylic, poly gel so I had to find something. Regular peel off base coats don't even last till bed time for me and surely not into the next day. So I gave Coco & Claire's peel off gel base coat a try and I really liked it. I wore my mani for about 5 days, soaked my hands in warm water and they popped off like a dream. Not sponsored by them on any level, not PR....just something I bought, tried and liked. LOL. it is a little expensive, but I'm not mad about it. I tried the Maniology and I hated it, no matter what I did that stuff wouldn't let go. I loved how well this worked for you. I have done this a couple of times but managed to get a little damage on my nails. Thanks for doing a demo on this technique.

BTW my arrived today. I am such an idiot, don't know why I felt the need to order 3 of the same color. LOL. my subscribers will be so happy if they win one of the extras.

HAH that metal tool is a must when I do manis. It's a workhorse, and I've had mine many many moons too! I've not tried the oil method per say, but the Burt's Bees Natural Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream brushed on the nail before gel application worked for me at least. I don't do gels very often because I am pretty sure I am allergic to HEMA and so many don't declare formulas. So glad Madam Glam is HEMA free though! Also I avoid gels because I cannot stand the cotton ball soak method, I cringe every time I see someone do that! I only use Kiss Quick Soak-Off caps and foamie inserts, and even those wig me out texture-wise! ttyfs!

🚫STOP🚫 Before you use any kind of peel-off stuff. Make sure you have some hard gel or at least a thin layer of base and top and then buff it a little. Even water base peel off stuff can remove some of your nail bed and if you do it a lot, that will give you thin painful nailbeds

I wondered about madam glam peel off. I have one from Born Pretty. I like that it stays on longer than non gel peel off. It does come off pretty easily, but if you use it to much it does start to damage the nails. It must peel a little of your nail ever time. I don’t use gel too much as I hate it file off. 😂 “Cotton Ball”.

The curable peel base is meant to last a week. I tried it and went into a panic because It would not pop off🤪. I have seen Roze use some kind of matte topcoat but not oil. My tips arrived and they did not fit. Didn't have much of a C curve to even use on my broken nail. That nail you did looks awesome! OMG, I am cringing. Please put something on your nails to protect them if you are gonna do this😭 I had to soak in warm water too to pry them off. OMG, cotton balls skeeve me out. I just can't with those things
