shelby was accidentally brilliant. she didn't say "wilbur did this" she said what happened and gave hints bc she wasnt trying to call him out, she was trying to help other ppl in the same situation. as a result EVERYONE else peiced it together and found it pointing to wilbur. then, before shelby really confirmed anything, WILBUR confirmed it. its awful but at the end of the day thats why it worked for shelby but not other ppl who came forward. obvi thats awful and it shouldnt be that way, i'm just saying thats what was different this time, and also screw everyone who turned a blind eye.

edit: i hate making edits but i wanna make this point here so if you make a comment i don't have to repeat myself again. yes, right now the alleged abuse has not been confirmed in a court of law (at least not publically), but its pretty obvious it happened if you look at the situation. yes, people have accused gamers, especially ones who were in the dsmp (flashbacks to the dream situation), but those were always strangers. this is a person who was friends with wilbur, and who every single one of wilbur's friends have sided with. close friends of wilbur's for several years. if this information was false, don't you think at least a few would be defending him? plus he confirmed it in his twitter post (not calling it at apology, it was to save face and manipulate). plus he made nikki say it on stream several times because he knew, he KNEW that NO ONE would carw. he made her open up knowing that everyone would just laugh it off. if you can't put all of that, plus shubble explaining it, together enough to see "abuser" written in neon green across his forehead, then PLEASE, for the sake of society, take a logics class. please.

If anybody’s lost (because for some reason a lot of people are) she’s saying that she has talked about Wilbur’s abuse to people before but they all took Wilbur’s side.

Some of those people have been responding to the recent Shubble and Wilbur drama by completely siding with Shubble saying things like

“oh I had no idea he would do something like this he’s horrible.” Even tho this in no means should be a shock to them because Minx already told them about it years ago.

So basically what she’s implying here is that some people are only really siding with Shubble because that’s what everybody else is doing. Because if they were genuinely concerned by these behaviours they would’ve spoke out about it wayyyy before the recent drama

god sake no evidence that shelby was bitten there are 0 pictures of bruises but coincidence that wilbur has many pictures of him with bruises.

Honestly foresight is 20/20 not everyone notices it as abuse until its laid out as a whole. Or theyre put in that situation themselves, im juat glad people are willing to figure it out so it doesnt happen again. Tho being in the public eye can make that switch seem like a show and in some cases it is. Thos whole situation sucks

i remember theres this clip of wilbur and niki and he says “tell them how bad i treat you” and doesnt she mention the biting thing? shelby didnt directly state it was wilbur who she was in the relationship with at the time, it was just assumed and then wilbur came out with his apology on twitter. i think he does have issues that need to be addressed and worked out in therapy, and im hoping he does get better. but shelby on the other hand wore shorts and tank tops during the assumed time of their relationship and there were no bruises? and she doesnt have any evidence or pictures of said bruises. also ive heard theres a pattern with her and how she accuses her past partners of abusive behaviors. but there are people (their friends) who said he was abusive. its really confusing on who to believe, and i think more investigating needs to be done before we take sides. ill admit at first i was on shelbys side, but also being exposed to some of the things shes done makes me question if its true or not. again, more evidence should be collected before we fully decide whos the victim or lying

One thing, yeah it’s good that their supporting the victim, but their supporting her blindly. And there’s proof that Wilbur was the victim but they still follow Shubble blindly.
Give me a valid reason to harass wss. I’ll give some non valid reasons
“He admitted to it!” He admitted to biting, not abuse.
“He abused other girls!” Shubble has confirmed lied about other exes abusing her too.

Yes, support all victims 100% but if we demonize and dehumanize the attacker then nothing will change. Teaching the attacker better behaviors and how to evoke those behaviors are important to help prevent them and others from attacking people again.

I honestly feel bad for Wilbur because don’t get me wrong I don’t stand for abuse in any way shape or form but the amount of hate he’s been getting from everyone like they should support Shelby rather than hating on Wilbur. I honestly hope he’s doing ok mentally because of all the hate and even death threats. Why are people so cruel. I mean I support Shelby but it’s not like Wilbur isn’t human, he has feelings too. He already suffers from past trauma and anxiety and now this
like people need to stop all the hate .
