I review Lingyang's complete kit in this video and answer questions regarding his playstyle, team comp, echo pairing, and more!

Certified Lingyang Appreciator - Clover
Video TLDR :
Lingyang is a 5-star character on the standard banner and uses the gauntlets-type weapon
His best in-slot weapon is the Abyss Surges and his best free-to-play option is the gauntlets21D
He specializes in the glacio element and is the main DPS of the team
Moving on to his active skills, Ling Yang has his...
Active Skills:
Basic Attack: Lingyang makes three punches, then a barrage of punches, followed by a feral roar on the fifth attack
Heavy attack: He consumes stamina and causes glacio damage
Mid-air attack: He consumes stamina and causes a mid-air plunge attack which also causes glacio damage
Resonance Skill: Ling Yang uses an enhanced version of Feral Roar and causes glacio damage
Resonance Liberation: For his resonance liberation, Lingyang receives the blessing of lion's vigor and lasts for 14 seconds
Lion's Vigor does the following:
1) He increases his own glacio damage by 50%
2) If you use his ultimate first, then his forte skill striding lion, will increase to 10 seconds
Forte circuit Skill:
His forte skill is called striding lion which requires obtaining lion spirit
You can get lion spirit in 3 ways:
1) Using his resonance skill +20 (e ability)
2) Using his intro skill +40 (getting into the field)
3) Using his resonance liberation +60 (His ultimate)
When you finally get your forte circuit full, you can activate the striding lion and use his lion spirit for 5 seconds.
He then deals a barrage of enhanced basic attacks which causes glacio damage
Inherent Skills:
1) Lion's pride (His intro skill which causes glacio damage to increase by 50%)
2) Diligent Practice, Sharpening the teeth: When he is using his forte circuit skill, he does additional glacio damage within 3 seconds of his attack
Transition Skills:
Intro: Lion Awakens
Lingyang's appearance causes glacio damage
Outro: Frosty marks
When Lingyang swaps out to another character, he makes a shockwave that causes 600% of his attack as glacio damage
Main Objective of his kit:
If you want to maximize this barrage of damage,
1) Swap into Lingyang after getting a buff from support (For instance baizhi)
2) His intro skill will automatically activate (with his inherent skill giving him an extra 50% damage buff)
2) use his ultimate first (to boost glacio dmg and double his forte skill to 10 seconds)
3) use his forte skill(by holding down his basic attack) which automatically activates his other inherent skill (additional glacio damage) to deal the most possible damage.
What is the best echo set?
Main Echo: Lampylumen Myriad (Cost4) 2 piece set increases glacio damage by 10%, 5 piece set when doing the basic or heavy attack, glacio damage is increased by another 10%, stacking up to 3 times lasting 15 seconds (40% glacio damage increase)

Alternatively, you can use these other echoes to mix and match with his entire set!
Who does he work well with?
For the sub-dps option, you can use Rover to help him do some additional spectro damage, or anyone really
For his support, baizhi does glacio damage, heals the team, and increases Lingyang's damage by 15%
Alternatively, you can also use someone like Verina, who inflicts spectro damage, heals the entire team, prevents a member from dying, increases damage by 35%, and also does aoe damage to the enemies
Who should pull for him?
If you love the character, then just pull for him
I suggest picking up Lingyang if you want a fairly inexpensive team build with Rover and baizhi
Who should not pull for him?
