Congress has now extended its support to Agneepath protestors. Party holds 'Satyagraha' in solidarity with the protestors. The president of the Indian National Congress, Sonia Gandhi, assures agitators of the party's support against the Agnipath scheme. Slamming the opposition and their hidden political motives behind this move, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, 'Congress's mission is not the youth or army. Their mission is to topple the government.' 'They want to end the government. They are not able to work on issues and people don't stand with Congress anymore. They want to misinform people and misguide the youth. This is not correct,' Patra continued. He further added, 'Toppling the government can be their purpose but saving, growing, protecting India is our purpose. This is also the army's purpose.
