That’s how North and South Koreans say goodmorning to each other don’t worry

People keep forgetting that north korea and south Korea are still at war

Apparently some North Korean soldiers went into the south prompting warning shots to be fired. Crazy to witness it first hand

The Korean civil war has been going on for 74 years now. It’s the longest civil war in recorded history.

Thats crazy. I never thought two countries who are at war would shoot at each other.

It just the equivalent of 2 neighbours that hate each other being passive aggressive when they both lead the house at the same time

Tour guide clearly says “…happens every day…”

I served my mandatory military service in front line GP(Guard Post) from 23 infantry division and yeah that happens a lot actually. It's not even a newsable topic at this point.

My boss is korean and when he said when he was in the south korean military they would fire off machine guns at each other and curse each other out often so i think this is normal

Well, these things do happen sometimes when two countries are technically still at war.

One point in the early 2010s they exchanged artillery fire and not a single news network covered it nor did anyone outside of Korea hear about it unless you were stationed there

North Korea got confused when they saw an A-rab speaking in an Australian accent and just started shooting.

I had a friend who was from South Korea and had to do mandatory military service. He told me a story of when he was on the DMZ guard duty the North Koreans started throwing grenades as far as they could towards South Korea so his patrol started throwing their own grenades back and this went on for about an hour.

He said that usually they just start blasting randomly every few hours just to remind each other that they’re armed and they’re present.

I live in Seoul, those governmental alerts are pretty normal. Every now and then North Korea would send a garbage balloon or an ajumma would go missing.

Technically they are still at war with eachother . No declaration has ever been issued otherwise .
