Upon rewatching the finale 4 yrs later as a 17 yr old, it's message on growing up was a real gut punch in the feels and yeah life's way too short so enjoy the little things while you can

OK K.O. is one of my favorite cartoons ever, I remember the original mini episodes even! It was a show with excellent character design and near-perfect character development for every character. It would have been perfect, and all-time classic if not for its early cancellation causing certain events in the end to come out kind of rushed. But regardless it never stops being enjoyable, and it holds a special place in my heart and the hearts of many cartoon fans.

The show starts are good and gets better in layers. You keep thinking it can’t get better once you’re hooked, but it just does. I warned my boyfriend the last two episodes are criers. My 30 year old boyfriend then proceeded to cry the whole time—not intending to shame him in any way, just saying that this is an incredibly crafted children’s show. I was sobbing the first time I watched it.

Ending made me cry because I literally watched the show over the summer to take a moment and enjoy things because I was growing and felt like everything moved too quickly .. then the ending came and knocked me into next Tuesday, but I’m so grateful for what the show was made out to be ! It’s actually one of my favorites :-)

The ending hit me kinda hard too. Ever since 2019 things have felt like everything is at 10x speed, and I’m lagging behind somehow. One second it’s 2019, the next second a whole pandemic has happened and I’m in middle school. I can barely remember the last time I felt truly in the moment. This episode really brought me to reality, and I realized that everything is just as slow as it has always been…wow…
