air up ad reads always start like "you know me, i have trouble getting my daily water intake!" which doesn't really sound believable when it's coming from people who talk for hours on end for a living

My favorite content creator who took a sponsorship from AirUp is AstralSpiff, and it was super confusing to me because he's Canadian and he admitted in one of the sponsored video segments that they didn't ship to Canada (at the time). The company was so desperate for exposure that they sent their product to creator whose home country they weren't even operating in 🗿

Keep up the awesome videos bro, these sponsors deserve to be torn apart. Especially this one, it’s such a bad product that it’s bordering on a scam, and the ad reads make it seem so good that I find it impossible to believe the YouTubers read them with a straight face.

Something very interesting i noticed in air up sponser segments is that the youtubers always say they "like the raspberry lemonade flavor the most, but all the flavors are good!" They all get the same script lol

At this stage, I think creators expect (or convince themselves) that viewers understand that they're only shilling these products for money, are required to say certain things to get paid, and don't actually believe in the products they're selling.

as soon as you laid out those prices for JUST the bottles, not even including the pod sets, i was screaming at my screen YOU CAN JUST GET A WATER BOTTLE FOR FIFTEEN BUCKS AT WALMART!! i suspect that they're so overpriced because most people buying them would be using the discount codes given by influencers, which probably takes it down to the ACTUAL price they'd be selling it at if they weren't giving out discounts.
