Gallatin County fire claims a second life

GALLATIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - A fire that left one man dead in Gallatin County has claimed a second life. Esta "Mae" Wallace, 78, has died.

Kenny Higgins and Wallace were in the home on Sayersville Road on Jan. 17 when that fire started. Wallace was Higgins' aunt.

Higgins was found dead at the home. Wallace was taken to UC Medical Center where she had been treated in the burn unit. She passed away on Jan. 26.

The house was destroyed. Firefighters are still working to determine the cause of the fire.

I honestly believe that this shit needs to be taken down for good. I'm the daughter of Kenny Higgins (the man found dead as u so politely say) and to the family that knows ur recording and posting a video of a mans body burning. There's a difference in reporting the news and being disrespectful. And it's sad to think that any one of his six grand children at anytime could get on here and see this breaks my heart even more then knowing that my father, the last parent I had, is laying there dead and burning. I hope one day this world wakes up to see that there are plenty of lives that suffer enough without ur heartlessness adding to it.
