This is truly the most beautiful cover of this song I've ever heard. Your blending and harmonies are so ethereal and absolutely delicious. It was never my favorite Coldplay song...and this might sound crazy, but a couple of years ago I realized it's the purrfect tribute to my little old kitty, who had the most beautiful green eyes, and saved my life on more than one occasion...he was with me for 11 years, he was at least 15 and passed away 3 days ago. I know it sounds ridiculous to a lot of people, but he really was my rock and lightened my load for a lot of years...and I only found this video because I was looking for versions of that song that could help me through my grief, and I want you to know that this is one of my favorites and it means so much to me. It's funny because "Green Eyes" is my favorite song right now. I used to listen to him all the time when I was a child with my dad and I listen to him again all the time since a week or two.
And coincidentally, Chase picks up that song.

You have the gift to take back all the songs I love, all my childhood and adolescence through every piece (Coldplay, Radiohead, Muse, Linkin Park, The Lumineers and many others).
And today that I'm an adult, I can only love the small dose of melancholy and sensitivity that you add to these songs.
