Victorian government 'has not taken responsibility for any mistakes' in the last 14 months

The Advertiser's Caleb Bond says "the Victorian government has not at any point in the last 14 months taken responsibility for any of the mistakes it has made".

Josh Frydenberg has left the door open to providing financial support to Victorians after the fourth lockdown of more than five million Melburnians was extended by at least a week, but assistance would likely be conditional on being matched by the state government.

"I do not recall Daniel Andrews ever getting up at his press conferences and saying sorry we got it wrong," Mr Bond said.
