In this video we look at the Identity and inverse element. The identity element is an element which gives a number ‘a’ when operated on that number. The inverse of "a" is a number that gives the identity element when operated on ‘a’.

In this video, we try to use algebraic means to determine the identity element under a given operation in a certain domain.

In addition, the additive identity and additive inverse of an element "a" in the real number system is well explained.

We hope you enjoy watching this video.
