Glad you are making several of these pellet machines, each with a unique twist. Since the latest two are hand-driven, does that mean the drill-driven one doesn't work well?

When drilling those holes in that bottom plate
If you had drilled them all the way around except for a much narrower position for your cut off blade,
You may not find it so hard to turn,
And maybe you could have spring loaded that blade so if it got pushed down, as soon as you started rotating it, it would come up and cut of the pellets
Or used a small angle blade and only had one small edge rubbing against that holed plate
And you could have had the blade cutting on both sides
