I've noticed, especially in the Reserve bunker that scavs don't make any sound until they are right next to you, so I've had plenty of practice for dealing with this guy lol.
That one scav at the end probably also walked up those stairs and didn't produce any sound whatsoever.

Good to know that it is present in the customs, I didn't expect it, as I consider it a map with a reasonably small forest area.
His loot is really quite disappointing when compared to the goons' loot.

Did you also feel that the game's sound was bad? I mean in general, does it seem like everything is muffled or quieter?

The loot can't be that good, otherwise people will increase their bad karma just to bait him for looting. This boss is a punishment for those who make the gameplay unfair and not the way it is intended (ex killing a random teammate at the beginning of the match)

I ran into him on woods, killed him, then died to a mosin rat, because BSG cannot figure out that giving someone the ability to pen tier 3 armor day one of wipe is dumb
