Flemish Giants are a very old breed of domesticated rabbit. Originally raised for meat and fur, the breed already existed in Belgium by the 16th century. The first standards for the breed were written in 1893. Although a domesticated breed, Flemish Giants still retain certain adaptations of wild rabbits.

They are shockingly the reverse of what you'd expect often Flemish giants aren't that active and they love their owners as well are very tolerant of kids. The few I've had the joy of meeting are more likely to sit questioning you why you have picked them up or are petting them. XD.
