Someone in the world needs to hear what YOU have to say

If you've ever felt that you are meant for something bigger- you are right. You are. You have a gift to share. That gift is your story, your struggle, and your wisdom.

Whatever it is that you have to say; say it. And then say it again. Then, say it a little louder for the folks in the back. Discovering who are you what want to say- that is meant for you. SHARING who you are- that's the gift you give to the world.

It's funny, Mel, but this is exactly what I needed to hear. I've been in my comfort zone thinking about me me me, forgetting that someone out there is actually waiting for this very message I've kept hidden. I've forgotten along the line that it's not about me, I want to help and I'm forgetting that people need to hear what I have to say.

The first step for me is owning my truth which I am going to do now. I, sadly, have been estranged from my oldest daughter for over 4 years now. That happened at the same time where there was a burning of the prarie in my life. Everything hit at once and it knocked the wind out of my soul. I was so ashamed at the failure of the relationship with my daughter. I held my head down for a good three years, feeling like a failure as a human being and mother. Only in the past year have I been able to fully accept the situation. I say this soberly, but I agree with the separation because it was needed. I still shy away from sharing the situation with people, especially those who share my faith and I have not seen in awhile. There is still that root of shame, but I have learned so much about estrangement. My perspective of those going through such situations has changed. I am thankful for the wisdom and knowledge.
I just recently connected with an old friend, who I completely avoided sharing my situation with. I am going to, with respect, own my truth. I am going to share my situation.

This is perfect timing! Thank you! I pushed myself to finally start a youtube channel just last month. I've been planning to do it for a long time to be able to share my thoughts and experiences on personal growth but I've been delaying it thinking that no one would need it. When I started putting out videos, I was so surprised of people reaching out to me and telling me how my videos are helping them out big time and that just makes my heart so happy❤️ On my 7th week now. I made an intention yesterday and this just confirms that intention. Everybody is important and everybody has something to say that is of importance. Sharing is a gift, and a story is shared consciousness of that gift. Sharing is caring.

I know this may seem like just another cheesy comment on just another YouTube video, but as I'm typing this, I'm sitting in a park, the most beautiful park that I've been to, which I came across by chance. (I went off my running route out of curiosity)

I took a moment, sat on the grass and literally had some meditation music in my headset, watching the sun go down, while other people exercised, listened to music, laughed with friends, children played and dogs ran about. I closed my eyes. I breathed deeply. I opened my eyes, felt the sun on my skin and took it all in.

For the past couple years, I've really been doing some deep thinking about my life's direction, what I know I should be doing and sharing, taking chances, being brave enough to follow my calling, and being in that moment, at the park, I went back into thinking of this.

My notification bell went off and I saw that Mel had just posted this. I listened. And it touched me. It really, in this moment spoke to me.
