This is how we add value to steel.
Round steel bars are heated within just a few minutes to 1200°C in an induction heater. The bars are continuously fed into the Hatebur machine. I a first step, the billet is sheared from the hot bar. Then the billet is forged in several steps into the final shape. Forging takes place at breathtaking speeds.
