This album is majestic, the innovation, and wonderful song quality is just immense.this album must have the most musical styles ever.I listen to this album still regularly.
For me it’s a 9 out of 10.six sides of vinyl 🤩 amazing. For me why not 10, is side 6 is the weakest compared too the other 5.highly recommended one of the best ever.👏👏👏

One of the greatest !thanks for posting...this album gets a bad rep from critics. Fuck em all I say !saw the Clash @ Bonds on Broadway in 1980 during the tour for this epic album . It was awesome .

This may sound sacrilegious to some fans but I wish the Clash had had the quality control of the Jam, although Weller didn’t have as much material, so they couldn’t afford to be choosy. I think the impact of London Calling and Sandanista would have been greater if they’d just been single albums and I wish White Man in Hammersmith Palais had been on Give ‘Em Enough Rope, I Fought the Law on London Calling and Bankrobber on Sandanista. Otherwise no complaints really. They could have put out all the other stuff on an extras double album after they packed up, but that wouldn’t really have been their ethos would it!
