Must Buy - Samsung 32” 4K 240Hz QD OLED Gaming Monitor
Enough is enough, gamers deserve better, and Samsung’s gonna give it to ya. Starting off with their 32” 4K 240Hz and 27” 1440p 360Hz QD OLED V2 gaming monitors which will not only have the benefit of OLED’s near instant response times, and better text clarity, but at such high framerates they will likely be the clearest displays in motion ever created, especially since they’ll be using premium glossy finishes for the best picture possible unlike the absolutely awful grainy, oily finishes used by LG.

Not only that, but with QD OLEDs far superior color volume in HDR these monitors will in my opinion be the first true HDR gaming monitors on PC. Yes we do have LG OLEDs and Mini LED displays which can deliver a good HDR image, but these technologies have their downsides such as OLED really falling apart in higher brightness in my testing, and Mini LED having lot’s of blooming, slow backlights, and inaccuracies, especially in low light scenarios.

QD OLED has none of these problems and is the only display technology which has delivered a near perfect HDR experience, although of course there’s still plenty of room for increasing full screen brightness and combating burn in.

If previous monitors from Samsung Electronics are anything to go by, this is going to be one of the fully featured monitors with this Samsung Display panel, but with the most QC issues and bugs. I would warmly recommend waiting for a professional review before committing to one of these. And like another commenter mentioned, the best value price isn't gonna happen until months in. I hate to say it but it might even be best to wait until Black Friday of 2024 for the best price, "X months later" reviews and inevitable firmware fixes.

I'm running a 7900XTX PC with a cheap 32" 1440p VA monitor and really want to upgrade to 4K true HDR, so I'm obviously impatient... Might get a 4K LCD monitor for productivity while waiting, since OLEDs are going to be ill-advised for static content, at least until someone discovers a durable blue phosphor, which still seems to be years away after the latest PHOLED disappointment.

I'm definitely gonna wait to see the Comparison between 32" 4k WOLED vs QD-OLED. I wonder what color accuracy and max Brightness will be like between them.

You can definitely trust Samsung to make an amazing monitor display, however there are 2 issues with QD-OLED panels now that I wonder if Samsung is able to prevent/solve; text clarity on windows and OLED burn-in. These 2 factors, alongside the high price tag, is usually a turn-off for most people

Just returned my OLED G9. The picture is superb but the color fringing is pretty bad. Really high hopes for the new 4k displays.

It's probably better to wait for Displayport 2.1 monitors before going 4K 240hz.

The brightness will still fall short I bet on these QD OLED's

I just wish OLED could be good for office/work environments too, i do 70 work and 30 gaming and wish to get one. Maybe v2 will fix some of the issues, we will have to see.

In 2018 I bought a Samsung LC27HG70QQUXEN 27" Curved Gaming Monitor - 144Hz, 1ms, FullHD, Freesync for Xbox One X. Since moved on to Xbox Series X so are the monitors in this video much better for Xbox? Thanks.

This is my endgame specs on a monitor. I'm waiting for the 5090 before I make the move. Gonna keep rocking my Alienware aw3423dw until then

I've never had an oled tv or monitor before but planning in biting the bullet and finally getting one in 24 since they have a reputation of being great for fast moving images. If anything I would get the high quality 240hz monitor and/or s90D tv. The problem though is that both the 7900xtx and 4090 can rarely get 4k 120; at least on the newer games unless you turn off some options. Maybe in 5 years 4k 120 cards would be more solid but i'm not waiting around for that. Is there any point in getting a 4k 240 hz monitor at this time unless to play really old games (that don't even have true 4k graphics) or just stick to 4k 120/144 monitors. Defeats the point of 4k 240 monitor just to play at 1080 and 1440.
