Remember Americans, Canadians, Europeans and citizens of other places on the Northern Hemisphere, Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere, and while it's summer for us, it's winter for them, and vice versa.

Easier said than done.  Fortunately, where I live, we have an audio alert indicating when the doors are about to shut.  Then we put on the brakes.
