I used to have a Zoom H4N back when I was into making videos. It was a very robust piece of hardware and met all of my needs for a recorder. As I stopped making videos I used it more as an audio interface for recording guitar and bass and it did a pretty good job at that too. I recommend it highly so I can only imagine the Zoom H4N Pro would be just as good.

Zoom is good quality stuff. I picked up the Tascam DR-40 on a fantastic sale. I liked the unboxing as it included some quick examples of functionality.
