If you want to know who makes American Kitcat it's the Hershey company they make the American Kitcat that's why the British people don't like the American Kitcat because it's basically Hershey chocolate which kind of has a chemical aftertaste that's why Europeans don't like it

Im in South Africa and the kit kat that u have is the same as ours over here but I never realize that the Americans kit kat was different 😅❤

If you get a chance, try Japanese Kit Kats. They are available in a host of different flavors. My wife likes Strawberry Cheesecake. My favorite is Orange Chocolate.

Nestle is much better than Hershey's. Non-US versions are def better. I'm used to US chocolate now that I've been here most of my life, but Aldi chocolate helped get my wife off Hershey's. Hershey's method of making harder to melt chocolate for transport creates a reaction (as shown by her expressions) that is basically the taste of milk puke. So most people who didn't grow up on US chocolate like us will gag on Hershey's like this girl did. Only Hershey's I buy are Kit-Kat and Reese's, whose other contents mask the chocolate enough.

American chocolate is mostly sugar. They don't use enough nearly enough cocoa. It tastes cheap.

Isn’t the different chocolate recipe something to do with keeping the melting point higher in USA because of warmer climate? For transport etc they would need refrigerated trucks to transport uk chocolate?
That might be total bs 😆😆
Probably just the milk powder content or sugars used. Definitely want to try a US kitkat myself now!
